Dying To Be Me is my favorite near-death experience book. During her NDE, Anita Moorjani realizes that her husband’s “life and purpose were inextricably linked to (hers), and if (she) died, he’d follow (her) soon after. But even if this were to happen, everything would still be perfect in the bigger picture.”
The bigger picture is what her expanded out-of-body consciousness allowed her to see.
If she chose to return to her body:
I wouldn’t have to go out and search for what I was supposed to do — it would unfold before me. It involved helping lots of people — thousands, maybe tens of thousands, perhaps to share a message with them. But I wouldn’t have to pursue anything or work at figuring out how I was going to achieve that. I simply had to allow it to unfold.
If we were to see the bigger picture it would rest a lot lighter with us.
You are a single thread in the tapestry. No need to try to weave the whole thing. The tapestry is far more wondrous than we can see no matter what seems to be going on here.
Really nice Robert!
